Keeping Yahoo and Verizon Emails Out of Spam in Gmail
For unknown reasons, gmail tends to throw emails with yahoo.com and verizon.net addresses into Spam. So your good friend Louie with email louie@yahoo.com sends you a message and you don't see it until you look in your Spam. Bummer. Wouldn't it be nice to fix this? Read on, Louie.
1. Log into Gmail and select Settings. It's the gear in the upper right.
2. In Quick settings, click on See all settings.
3. Choose Filters and Blocked Addresses, on top.
4. Scroll to the bottom and select Create a new filter.
5. In the From, put “yahoo.com OR verizon.net” as you see in the picture. You can also add OR aol.com if you want. Click on Continue.
6. On the next dialog, select Never send it to Spam and Also apply filter to matching conversations. If you want to apply a label, you can do that. Then click Update filter.
7. It might take a minute or two to finish. From now on your yahoo and verizon email friend's messages will go to your inbox!
