Next Wednesday 4/29: Plastics Pollution — Health, Climate, and Solutions
We are pleased to invite you to an upcoming presentation on one of the most pressing environmental issues of our time.
Join us for “Plastics Pollution: Health, Climate, and Solutions,” featuring Eileen Ryan, the leader of Beyond Plastics Greater Boston — a grassroots organization dedicated to educating communities about the wide-ranging dangers of plastic pollution and advocating for meaningful change.
This talk will explore:
- The health impacts of plastics on our bodies and communities
- The role of plastics in driving the climate crisis
- Practical and policy-based solutions already within reach
Our speaker Eileen brings deep expertise and a compelling, evidence-based perspective on why plastics are far more than a litter problem — and what we can do about it.
Wednesday April 29, starts at 10am.
- Online via Zoom: Join the meeting: https://bostonu.zoom.us/j/97261460830
- In person: Lexington Community Center (LCC) room 237
This is a wonderful opportunity to learn, ask questions, and connect with others who care about environmental health. All are welcome.
We hope to see you there.
