Hello neighbors,
In brief:
Our research is complete. We have contacted eight oil supplies who service our neighborhood to see what they are charging for delivering heating oil. and what they are charging for boiler service and the service plans they offer. We're writing you because you expressed an interest in our project.
A few of the suppliers offer lower prices if we as a group sign up; but most are not offering pricing that does not require a group of us to sign up.
We have collected information on oil suppliers offering group rates on oil and service. With a group of 10 or more households in the neighborhood, we could be paying less for oil and services. We're writing to you because you expressed interest in this project.
Background:
We started this research because of the drastic oil price increase by our current provider and their unfair handling of our service contact. We've contacted over 10 oil suppliers. Our research is nearly complete, and we are waiting for responses from several; we should have good information with a recommendation next week.
Please Note that for us to get the group oil and service pricing benefits, the oil supplier will need to see 10 or more neighbors signing up with them.
What do we expect from our efforts? Research results of lower heating oil price and better service cost, and good neighbors working together. We have also set up a web page to share the most recent information, updates, and a group email for the group to communicate and exchange information.
Each household will have a direct business relationship with the chosen oil supplier after you sign up with the them, because every household's usage and payment method is different.
Help us grow the group! Please let others know if they are interested in joining the group and saving oil costs. Please forward this email to them with our contact information.
